What is the best time to visit East Africa for a safari?
The best time for wildlife viewing in East Africa is during the dry season from June to October and December to February. This is when animals gather around water sources and vegetation is sparse, making them easier to spot. The Great Migration in Maasai Mara typically peaks between July and October. However, each season offers unique experiences – the green season (March-May) offers lush landscapes, fewer tourists, and lower prices.
Do I need a visa to visit Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, or Rwanda?
Most international visitors require a visa to enter East African countries. Kenya offers an e-visa system that can be applied for online before travel. Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda also offer e-visas or visas on arrival for many nationalities. Some countries have tourist e-visas allowing multiple entries across East Africa. We recommend checking the specific requirements for your nationality and destination at least 4 weeks before travel.
What should I pack for an East Africa safari?
Essential safari packing includes: neutral-colored clothing (khaki, olive, beige – avoid white and bright colors), layers for varying temperatures, a warm jacket for early morning game drives, comfortable walking shoes, sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, camera with extra batteries, and any personal medications. Don't forget a power bank and adapters for charging devices.

Absolutely! We specialize in creating customized itineraries tailored to your preferences, budget, and timeline. Whether you want to extend your stay, add specific activities, combine multiple destinations, or create a private tour for your group, our travel consultants will work with you to design your dream East Africa adventure. Is it safe to travel in East Africa?
Yes, East Africa is generally safe for tourists. We prioritize your safety by working with experienced guides, using reliable vehicles with safety features, staying updated on travel advisories, and providing 24/7 support during your tour. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance for peace of mind.
Do you offer travel insurance?
While we don't directly sell travel insurance, we strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before their trip. This should cover medical expenses, trip cancellation or interruption, lost luggage, and emergency evacuation. We can provide recommendations for reputable insurance providers. Please contact us for more information.
What type of accommodation can I expect?
We offer a range of accommodation options to suit different budgets and preferences. Options include luxury lodges, tented camps, eco-lodges, mid-range hotels, and budget-friendly guesthouses.
