1. Booking and Payment

All bookings made through Zanzi Scenic Gateaways are subject to availability. A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment must be completed at least 30 days before the departure date. Prices may be quoted in USD or KES and are subject to change without notice.

2. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

• More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus Ksh.100 administrative fee
• 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund
• 15-29 days before departure: 25% refund
• Less than 15 days before departure: No refund

3. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before their East Africa trip to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost luggage, and other travel-related issues.

4. Passports and Visas

It is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure they hold a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity beyond the return date) and any required visas or entry permits for their destination country. Zanzi Scenic Gateaways is not responsible for any issues arising from improper documentation.

5. Health Requirements

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they meet all health requirements for their destination, including recommended vaccinations for East Africa (e.g. Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Malaria prophylaxis). Consult your doctor or travel clinic at least 4–6 weeks before departure.

6. Liability

Zanzi Scenic Gateaways acts as an intermediary for various service providers including airlines, hotels, lodges, and ground operators. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the acts or omissions of these third-party providers.

7. Changes to Itinerary

Zanzi Scenic Gateaways reserves the right to make changes to itineraries when necessary due to weather, road conditions, wildlife movement, park closures, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide reasonable and comparable alternatives.

8. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information collected is used solely for booking and operational purposes and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to fulfil your travel arrangements. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya, where Zanzi Scenic Gateaways is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Kenya.
